Italic font indicates intuited messages and commentary. Bold is indicative of notable highlights.

Star sign = Cancer

This astrological composition of stars symbolised by the crab.

As a water sign and ruled by the moon it represents the form of: I FEEL

Deeply emotional this sign is the caretaker of the zodiac.

It is nurturing, loving, and loyal.

Devoted to family and home.

Can be hard to lure them out of their shell.

Can be moody and fearful, but it's vulnerability also gives great sensitivity and empathy for others.

It is notable that the moon is in Cancer this week.

Planetary Bodies = Venus & Neptunus

Compassion for others will soften your heart and draw more love to you.

This is the source of spiritual bliss.

Venus

The Birth of Venus by Botticelli

This celestial body is the goddess of love.

She blesses relationships of all kinds.

She rules over all matters of the heart, from friendship to true love, and all the delights of the senses.

It's influence brings a desire for intimacy, harmony, and peace.

Part of this desire is the yearning towards beauty, which opens the spirit to a higher realm and feeds both mind and soul.

It brings an appreciation of art & luxury, and influences the way we decorate our homes.

Possessions and the things we want are under the auspices of Venus, influencing our individual taste and our attraction to objects.

Venus rules over Libra & Taurus.

This painting of The Birth of Venus depicts the emergence of a fully grown woman, she is the pearl evolved. Makes me think of the message in this weeks Rider-Waite reading (week 14) and The Empress tarot card, because the emblem on her shield is that of Venus.

There is more on Venus and The Empress in this past blog.

cafeastrology says the following about Venus influences:

"Venus rules our sentiments, what we value, and the pleasure we take in life.

Grace, charm, and beauty are all ruled by Venus.

Through Venus, we learn about our tastes, pleasures, artistic inclinations, and what makes us happy.

We look to Venus in the natal chart to see how we approach relationships of the heart, as well as what gives us pleasure.

Do we enjoy the give and take of relationships (Venus in Libra), the security our relationships give us (Venus in Cancer), or the thrill of the conquest (Venus in Aries)?"

Venus appears in your oracle reading to say:

You may feel a strong pull towards a person, place or thing.

Follow your heart.

Venus in Cancer

Ask others to take care of you.

cafeastrology says the following about Venus is in Pisces from April 6 to May 2:

"Like Aquarius, Pisces love is universal.

However, Pisces draws no bounds in love.

With Venus in Pisces, we have compassion (and perhaps attraction) for those who are left out, overlooked, or victimized.

We are self-sacrificing, and we have a hard time setting up borders.

The walls go down, we have a hard time saying no (especially if our compassion is engaged), but we are also prone to avoiding all that makes us feel uncomfortable.

Wishful thinking is one expression of Venus in Pisces.

We can too easily believe what we want to believe.

People can be hard to pin down, and love is hard to define under this influence.

Pisces never sees the world in black-and-white terms.

Rather, Pisces sees all the colors of the rainbow.

With the goddess of love in Pisces, our love is all-embracing,

we are able to forgive and understand,

we are seducible and seductive,

and we show compassion to our partners.

Venus in Pisces is tender and affectionate, although hard to reach nevertheless, as there is a longing for something that is hard to define and hard to satisfy.

Borders and boundaries blur under Venus in Pisces.

The shadow side of this position is allowing ourselves to be deluded, as well as evasiveness."

Neptunus (Neptune)

This card appeared last week, in the same position and you can read more what it's about there. However, to recap it would be to repeat what is said about Cancer, above, and rules matters of spirituality and compassion and serenity.

This week I prefer to reference this article about the current Jupiter/Neptune conjunction and it's influencing energies. It really resonated for me.

A conjunction refers to a 'union' of planets, where they act in unison with each others energies. Perhaps the 2 of Wands appearing in the Rider-Waite reading for week 14, seems to echo this energy, as a portal of manifestation through the right collaboration, and/or perhabs back to the lab, and/or playing with the parts of the sum...you hold the world in your hand, right now and a wand to magic what you wish for.

This card can appear at this time to enourage you to use your imagination to find deeper meaning, but keep one foot on dry land.

The Star card in tarot is associated with Aquarius, and it depicts a woman with one foot in the water and one foot on dry land. We are definitely feeling the need to find balance in order to flow better. It's a give-and-take kind of feeling - mutually beneficial scenarios/engagements.

Neptunus in Cancer

Don't drown in the deep waters of emotion.

In the Rider-Waite reading this week, we see how we experience crisis in ourselves and maybe even in our lives recently (maybe even in week 13!) and these traumas can really muddy up the waters of our emotions. Old memories and losses, and sacrifices, and poor choices etc. lead us to feel 'sorry for myself' of victim mentality. It is easy to plead "woe is me" but if you expect a different outcome or a realistic shift, in body, mind, and emotions, then that takes application of 'better choices', as seems to be the theme currently for 2022.

How you expend your time and energy is important, do you perpetuate your experiencing by repeat/looping through the same cycle of shame, blame and being lame ad nauseum?

Or do you finally lose your shit for your inner child's tantrums and put your foot down saying "No!" to that behaviour.

You can grab that bratty kid by the shoulders, look them in the eye and say, "Hey, I got you. All is well. It's all going to be ok, but first we have to...".

You then take their hand, or pick them up, as you need you to do for you, and you gently guide them onwards, slowly, patiently, steadily.

Don't forget, as you go, to have fun with it, and remember that play is a beneficial learning platform.

You might find that that 'difficult' inner child begins to repeat your NO, as you go. To people, places and experiences. This can cause a little embarrassment and anxiety, because it is an uncomfortable position to be in.

But yet, together you will figure it out, and love provides the perfect medium for more harmony, cooperation and better times.
