The Laws of Spiritual Success - Week 3

These notes are your 'homework' or 'take-aways' for continued self development. We use various literature, introduced for further reading, and insight, together with the book, in focus, to give us intent and cause.


The Law of Least Effort

(as per Law 4 of The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success - Deepak Chopra)

An integral being knows without going, sees without looking, and accomplishes without doing. - Lao Tzu

This law is based on the principle of 'do less, and accomplish more' as per nature example. A 'miracle' is considered the be an expression of this law. We expend least effort when our actions are motivated by love, because nature, is held together with the energy of love.

We are advised to avoid chasing the illusion of happiness, rather than enjoying happiness in the moment.


The ego's whims demand much attention and energy but when we can use our spirit, our actions are motivated by love. This energy multiplies, and the surplus can be channeled to anything we want to create (as the seed of pure potentiality).


Harness the power of harmony & love to creatively express this energy for the experience of affluence and evolution.


Homework & Take-aways for this law:

* Accept people, situations, and events, as they are, not as you wish them to be - in this moment and that this moment is exactly as it should be.

* Take responsibility for your situation and for all the experiences you see as 'problems' and look for the lesson or the 'gift in adversity' (as per Stoic philosophy). Obstacles are transformed into opportunities.

* Practice defenselessness - do not defend your point of view and remain open to all points of view, without attachment.

The Law of Intention and Desire

(as per Law 5 of The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success - Deepak Chopra)

In the beginning there was desire, which was the first seed of the mind...

This law suggests, that as the seed of pure potentiality, we activate a natural infinite field that says that inherent in every desire, are the mechanics for it's fulfillment. These mechanics are able to reach beyond the physical body.


At the level of pure consciousness there is only energy and information. Using this we are able to change (cause) energy and create manifestation (intended outcome), applying:

  • attention - energises through present-moment awareness

  • intention - transforms through desire without attachment to the outcome

Your intention will generate it's own power:

  1. Center yourself in the Essential State of Be-ing - the silent space between thoughts.

  2. Release expectation (intention & desire) and trust in natural timing

  3. Don't share your desires until a solid connection has been created

  4. Give up any attachment to a 'desired' outcome and allow natural development of events/experiences.

  5. Leave the details to God/The Universe.


Homework & Take-aways for this law:

* Make a list of your intentions & desires - use this list to reflect upon or contemplate during silent time.

* Release your desires to the field of pure potentiality. Understand that when things don't go your way, there is a reason.

* Practice Present-Moment awareness in all your actions.

Distance Healing Session for the week of 16-22 August 2020


This week we will focus upon:

* Heart chakra to find, understand, support, heal, parent & love the wounded inner child.

I am available to do private intuitively guided sessions, addressing core wounds of:

  • rejection

  • abandonment

When we understand how we have been responding to life from these emotional conditionings, in a reactive manner rather than through an adults awareness/consciousness of experiences in life, we can begin to reprogram these patterns and create better, more powerful outcomes through acceptance, responsibility, intention and attention.


Through this mastery, we are able to learn how to be pro-active & response-able vs reactive & defensive.


Further info & resources:

Remember to become aware of your heart in physical form (beating) and then in energetic form (feeling). This will help in times of stress or anxiety.

Take time each day to be silent/meditate to connect with your spirit, to just BE.

Practice non-assumption by using The four Agreements to inspire and empower your state of being aware.

  • Be impeccable with your word - integrity

  • Don't judge

  • Don't assume

  • Always do your best!
